The cover of the second 2016 issue of Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump magazine will reveal on Monday that Shokugeki no Soma anime will get a second season.
To commemorate Shokugeki no Soma manga's third anniversary launch, Weekly Shonen Jump reveals this announcement. More details will be revealed in the future issues.
This issue also will reveal that the DVD of the event anime special about the Aldini brothers will release with special editions of the manga's 18th volume on May 2.
Shokugeki no Soma manga is written by Yuto Tsukuda and illustrated by Shun Saeki. It inspired the first anime season from May to September. 15 volumes of the manga have been published by Shueisha from 2012, and the 16th volume will be published on January 4.
