It is announced at KuroBas Cup 2015 event that Kuroko no Basket Anime is getting a theatrical film.
Kuroko no Basket is a Japanese basketball manga series written and illustrated by Tadatoshi Fujimaki. It was serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump from December 2008 to September 2014. Shueisha has published 30 volumes. It tells the story of a high school basketball team trying to make it to the national tournament. Fujimaki began a sequel titled Kuroko no Basuke - Extra Game in Jump Next! on December 29, 2014.
The first anime season premiered on April 7, 2012 and ended on September 22, 2012. The second season premiered on October 6, 2013 and ended on March 29, 2014.
