Manga series Kure-nai had its last chapter published in the July issue of Shueisha's Jump Square magazine, whch came out on June 4.
Kure-nai is a manga adaptation of novelist Kentaro Katayama's light novel of the same name by Yamato Yamamoto. It started serialization in the first issue of Jump Square magazine in December, 2007. The manga was adapted into an anime in the fall of 2008, with two OVAs released in 2010. Shueisha will publish the 10th and final compiled book volume on August 3. Yamato Yamamoto is currently working on a new dark fantasy manga series titled Owari no Seraph, which is scheduled to debut in the same magazine this fall. The writer for this new series is Takaya Kagami, who's famous for his work such as The Legend of Legendary Heroes and A Dark Rabbit Has Seven Lives.
The story revolves around a sixteen-year-old high school student Shinkuro Kurenai, an expert in solving disputes between people. He soon finds his life turned upside down after he becomes a bodyguard for the daughter of a plutocratic family.
