Isshuukan Friends Live-Action Movie Slated for 2017

It is announced that the live-action movie of Matcha Hazuki's Isshuukan Friends (One Week Friends) manga will premiere in February 2017.
Haruna Kawaguchi and Kento Yamazaki will star in movie. A visual been released from the movie featuring the actors. Kawaguchi plays Kaori Fujimiya, while Yamazaki plays Yūki Hase.
The movie started on principal photography last December. Shosuke Murakami will direct the movie, while Yoko Izumisawa writes the scipt.
The story of the manga follows Yuki, a boy who is interested in his classmate Kaori. One day, he asks her to become his friends, but, she gently declines his friendship for her memories of friends would disappear in a week. Even so, Yuki wants to become her friend, and so the two become friends over and over again as the weeks pass.
The series was serialized in Square Enix's Gangan Joker magazine in 2012-2015. A special chapter has been drawn by Hazuki last April. The manga inspired an anime in 2014.
