The official website of the upcoming Pokémon XY & Z television series set up and posted a video. The anime will premiere on October 29 in Japan.
The video revealed song "XY & Z," performed by Rica Matsumoto as Satoshi (Ash), created by Tomohisa Sakō.

What secret is hidden in the legendary never-before-seen pokémon Zygarde? What is the mysterious phenomenon that occurs only with Satoshi's (Ash's) Gekkōga (Greninja)? What is the aim of Alain and Team Flare, who stands in the way of Satoshi and his friends? When all the mysteries are revealed, the greatest danger the Kalos region has ever seen will appear!

A one-hour special of Pokémon XY & Z, Pocket Monsters XY Tokubetsu Hen: Saikyō Mega Shinka ~Act IV~ (Pokémon XY Special: The Strongest Mega Evolution ~Act IV~), will premiere at 7:00 p.m. The new program, hosted by Shoko Nakagawa and Hyadain, Pokémon no Uchi Atsumaru?, will also premiere on Sunday, October 4 at 8:00 a.m.
